Mist Rolling In

I hopefully captured a sense of calm in the reflections in the partially still water. A low sun trying to break through the clouds hints of a cold late autumn day, as the mist rolls in. I felt the painting had a unique atmosphere, which almost developed on its own. Sometimes the brush work takes you in a different direction than planned, and this was the case with this piece of art.  'Mist Rolling In' was one of those artworks where in one moment I seemed to still have lots of work to do, and the next, the painting kind of said stop, I'm finished. So I listened for a change, and I stopped. The work is Acrylic/oil on Kraft card size A4 unframed. Please note the framed photo is an example only.
