A Trullo (singular) is a conical, stone-roofed building unique to the region. If you holiday in Puglia you should visit Alberobello, a UNESCO world heritage site featuring the largest concentration of Trulli in Puglia. A Trullo typically consists of a whitewashed cylindrical wall made up of circles of grey stone that are held in place by lateral opposition and gravity without the use of mortar that rise to a pinnacle.
