Lakeland Sunrise

'Lakeland Sunrise' is a view held by two walkers on a warming Cat Bells, one of the most iconic mountains in the Lake District, England. The early morning sun radiates an orange light during the golden hour, beaming light over the eastern slopes, rewarding the walkers early start. There's nothing better than the feeling of having the entire countryside to yourself, and witnessing a new day arrive viewed from a mountain top. Derwent Water reflects the cool sky as the town of Keswick awaits the sunshine in the shade of the Skiddaw mountain Range. The artwork was completed in November 2022 after approximately 55 hours. it's size is 23.4" x 16.5” / A2 on gesso primed 6mm MDF panel.
