Amber Tyldesley is a 26 year old professional wildlife artist from Warrington (UK). Her high-impact pieces feature a striking level of detail and show a particular interest in the interplay between light and dark. Working primarily in acrylics, Amber often incorporates high-gloss resin into her work to achieve a heightened contrast and a distinctive contemporary finish. She was a finalist in the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation ‘Wildlife Artist of the Year’ competition 2019 & 2020, and across both years received three highly-commended awards and the People’s Choice prize.
Amber was also selected as the DSWF’s first ‘Artist of the Month’ during July 2020, with sales raising over £2000.00 for the charity. Supporting conservation efforts remains at the heart of her work, and over the past two years Amber has raised over £6000.00 for projects across Africa and Asia.
Her has been exhibited in galleries across the UK, and features in private collections across Europe, the United States and beyond.
