A gentle and uplifting blossom tree on a natural linen background. The acrylic paint is in shades of white, soft pink, light gold and palest green. Iridescent paint adds a subtle shimmer and a hint of other colours, and there are touches of metal leaf adding extra interest to the blossom. The tree trunk is also paler than usual, being taupe, rather than dark brown. The canvas measures 125x95cm and is 1.5cm deep. the painting continues around the sides of the canvas, and it is framed in a dark grey tray frame, which measures 130x100cm. It is titled, signed and dated on the back, and is strung and ready to hang. By Nicky Chubb
