Morecambe Blue by Robert John Watson

Limited edition photograph taken in 2022 on the seafront at Morecambe. Robert John Watson is an award winning photographer and is represented by galleries in both Manchester and London. His portfolio of work spans over two decades. Many of Watson’s photographs are shot on film; using his trusty 35 year old Hasselblad camera to produce the street photography and portraiture for which Watson is held in high regard. His recent interview in Aesthetica Magazine featured work from his 2020 solo exhibition at Manchester Central Library. This four month show and its accompanying book included vast Gursky-esque architectural and landscape pieces shot on large format film.
