2021 Silk Screen Print 50 x 70 cm Ian has been a professional artist since 1997, and has exhibited widely with recent solo exhibitions at the Williamson Art Gallery 2016, and the Victoria Gallery & Museum at Liverpool University 2019 his work also forms part of their permanent collections. Isn's Silkscreen prints fuse appropriated language sourced from films, pulp novels, cartoons, old illustrations and snippets of text. His work draws influence from Pop Art And this diverse range of imagery is unified by the medium of screen print, using vibrant colours and gestural marks. Many of Ian's works are created as series using repeated imagery to create unique individual art works.
