Sandbars is one of my series of colour field paintings, oil on canvas. I am a colourist who embraces the joy of harmonious and naturally occuring colours. This series, Complexity and Calm, is all about what I see in the landscape, manmade and natural. I study colours and mix them precisely, adding a bit of pizzazz with fluroescent pigments on occasion! The works are deliberatly unframed as the edges are part of the work. If you wish to frame then you have that choice. 82x97x4.5cm, unframed. Oil on canvas.
